On 2–3 October we set out a true west-coast autumn buffet with the flavours of Bohuslän.

A generous mix of delicacies from the sea, classic Swedish flavours and the autumn harvest.

Delicacies from the sea, classic Swedish flavours and the autumn harvest

From the sea

  • Three kinds of pickled herring
  • Cured salmon with dill & mustard-dill sauce
  • Fresh eggs with mayonnaise & hand-peeled prawns
  • Västkuströra — west-coast seafood mix

The autumn harvest

  • Wheat-berry salad with apple, dill & roasted seeds
  • Potato salad with crème fraîche & herbs
  • Roasted carrots with honey & thyme
  • Baked beetroot with walnuts

Warm from the kitchen

  • Malinda's meatballs with cream sauce, lingonberries & pickled cucumber
  • Bohuslän fish soup with cod, salmon, white wine, cream & root vegetables

And of course we finish with

Apple pie with vanilla sauce & coffee

The autumn buffet is our contribution to Smaka på Bohuslän — the theme week run by Lysekil municipality together with Turistrådet, celebrating the food and drink of Bohuslän.
